O UnrealIRCd lançou hoje uma nova versão estável do seu IRCd.
Como sempre, porque segurança é importante e os melhoramentos necessários, a PTirc irá proceder à atualização da rede durante o dia de hoje.
Como sempre, iremos aproveitar também para atualizar as VPS e os serviços do Anope.
Devido ao facto de atualizar as nossas VPS, isto irá implicar duas desconexões: uma para a atualização do sistema operativo da VPS em que teremos que reiniciar as VPS, e uma após a atualização do IRCd, em que teremos que reiniciar os servidores da rede para aplicar a nova versão.
As ligações deverão ser reestabelecidas rapidamente contando com um máximo de 2 minutos, no total, para tudo regressar à normalidade.
Como vem sendo hábito, os utilizadores receberão uma mensagem global quando a atualização comecar, uma quando as VPS e os servidores foram reiniciados e uma quando tudo tiver regressado à normalidade.
Pedimos desculpa por qualquqer incómodo que isto possa causar e obrigado por “voarem” com a PTirc!

Dear users,
UnrealIRCd has released a new stable version of its IRCd today.
As always, because security is important and improvements are necessary, PTirc will update the network today.
As always, we will also take this opportunity to update the VPS and Anope services.
Due to the fact that we are updating our VPS, this will involve two disconnections: one for updating the VPS operating system, during which we will have to restart the VPS, and one after updating the IRCd, during which we will have to restart the network servers to apply the new version.
Connections should be re-established quickly, with a maximum of 2 minutes in total for everything to return to normal.
As usual, users will receive a global message when the update begins, one when the VPS and servers have been restarted, and one when everything is back to normal.
