Como sempre, tentamos manter a nossa rede a funcionar da forma mais tranquila possível. Assim, faremos uma atualização ainda hoje para resolver este pequeno problema.

A rede ficará inacessível durante um máximo de 1 minuto, enquanto os servidores serão reiniciados para terminar a atualização.

Dear users,

Due to a bug in UnrealIRCd, recently discovered, that may crash the IRCd if the feature is being used a new stable release has been made today.

As usual, we try to keep our network running as smoothly as possible. Therefore we’ll be making an upgrade later this day to address this small issue.

The network will be unreachable for at the most 1 minute, while are servers are restarted to finalize the upgrade.

As always, users will be notified via a global warning that the update has started, that the servers are being restarted, and, if no issues are found, that the update was successful.

While PTirc tries to be as much stable as possible I’m a tester for UnrealIRCd itself which means that sometimes, at some point, PTirc will be using some testing releases like it’s today’s case.

The network update will be carried around 2PM (GMT+2) and the network is expected to be unreachable for less than 1 minute.
